Fat Loss

So you have now seen the Turkish Get up. What do you think?? Looks easy. Have a go at it.

Fat Loss.. TC might have to give you some techie talk here but all I know is I am loosing fat. It all seems too easy.. I follow my eating plan and exercise. The fat falls off.. I can tell by the notches in my belt and how I feel.. I have noticed a little trap for young players.. I feel thin but I still have a bit to go.. TC has done some measurement to keep me on track to my goal. You need to have specific measurable results if you go by how you feel you will cheat yourself.

Okay another interest side effect.. I am saving heaps on Food.. I am not buying lunches anymore. Tin of Tuna, baked beans and Veg and I am good to go.

Great Improvement

Again I am seeing excellent results.. I increased my squats by 10KG today.. I haven't achieved such results is years. But here is the thing, I feel strong and will try to go up another 10 Kg next week.. Why is this so amazing to me, I here you say? Well I am glad you asked.. I have been avoiding squats, on and off, for years. I used to get knee and back pain but after some cross training ,including Kettle Bells and Olympic Lift, my muscle imbalances are all but gone.. I feel the weight is moving in a groove.. I feel stable and strong. I do deep squats with no problem and no pain. I have my Mojo back.. I don't know why but good squatting is an indicator of success for me.. If I Squat, Bench and Deadlift well everything else just seems to follow..

I love them.. I have found so many ways to enjoy healthy eating.. I never starve and enjoy the benefits of great food. Health food can be quick and easy.. I set out my portions in a container so they are ready to go. Another thing I do is buy a small can ,of say, baked beans instead of big one so I have the right portion.. With the stuff ready to go I just put together the portions, in any combination I feel like at the time, and bingo there is my meal. Having everything portioned gives me flexibility so I don't get bored with the same food. I pick the food from a list given to me by TC Hardcore. I can eat the food I like. Easy Peasy Don't forget you are what you eat.. Make a commitment to eat Healthy for 2 weeks.. I'll reckon at the end of 2 weeks you will feel the difference. GO ON DO IT.

Lastly

TC rang me last night to guilt me into running up a local hill 5 times.. He has suggested this a couple of times but because it sounds like torture I have been reluctant. Well I was right. It was torture.. I nearly threw up twice but what a work out.. I feel like have achieved another great milestone.. Funny what you can do when you put your mind to it.. Today I can feel the fat melting off me.. I am another notch in on my belt.. Yeah.. Things are going to plan.

Turkish Get Ups

The Turkish Getup.. I have a love hate relationship with it.. I have sleep nights thinking about how much I hate them.. True Story.. On the other hand they are a great value exercise. I get so much benefit from that one exercise I keep doing them. They are hard to do but worth every rep. I even get a cardio workout from them. Typically my heart rate gets to about 132 b/min. Once they are done everything else seems easy.

Work out today was good.. Even had another old school lifter, like yours truely, comment on my excellent form. It is always good to here that.. I belive form is very important if you want to lift heavy. I spend a lot of time getting my form right when training with TC Hardcore. He is well researched and an excellent coach.

All in all a good workout. Went up 10kg on Deadlift and 5kg on Bent Over Rows. I am seeing results every workout. Looking forward to a very successful New Year.
