I thought it was time to get a little techie about stuff.. I think is important to give some thing back.. I am leaning new things, about training, all the time and hopefully you can use the info to.
Why do kettlebell?
The kettlebell training in the boot camp is a combination of intermittent high-intensity cardio and high-intensity resistance training. TC puts it all together so no thinking required on my part. The sessions are put together to get the maximum fat-burning and muscle-building effects. According to TC, studies reveal that both types of high-intensity routines cause high metabolic disturbances during post-workout. So how can you measure metabolic disturbances? It’s measured by examining the duration of post-excess oxygen consumption (EPOC). Put it this way, the longer the better because it means you burn more fat at rest. Called it the “afterburn” if you want. And there is scientific evidence to shows high-intensity short-duration workout is the best way to banishing abdominal fats. You don’t get all this from easy and unstructured workout. (so put it in when you are training). The beauty of this kettlebell boot camp, TC called it “metabolic workout”, is time-efficient and functional.
Why is it time-efficient? Because you get all the work done in about 35 minutes or so and your metabolism gets a boost and your body starts burning fat anything between 16-48 hours . In only 6 weeks, my waist is getting smaller and people are starting to notice.
Why is it functional? Traditional kettlebell training trains movement. In short, it means it teach your body to move better. TC insists on getting the technique right before I can add more weight to my lifts. (Shits me sometimes but he is right). He never let you get away with crappy techniques. Why? Bad habits are hard to kick and in the end the better your technique the more you can lift. My the aches and pain are gone. My shoulders lower back and knees feel strong.

I am Back
G'day Bloggers
Well, life has been getting in the way. But I am back. I have been training on and off the whole time.. Now I am being consistant.. Three Kettlebell bootcamps a week and a personal training session. So I am Hammering it. I love it.. It is a great feeling.. It is not that hard.. With Kettlebells you can kick ass for 30 mins and it is all over..Love it.. Running and running is just not me.. I get much better results and enjoy myself. My trainer gets everything out of me.
Now I think I said this before.. Video your self... I know.. I did't realise how fat I was before I did it.. My god.. I feel thin. I know I am getting more fit. I suppose it is a little psychology. My body image is not what I see on the video.. It is my goal to get them together.. It is all about quality of life for me.. I love the feeling of walking down the street and knowing I am fit and strong.. I feel confident and alive..It is great.. I hear my friends complaining about how they can't do the things they used to do when they were younger.. Man, get off your arse grab a Kettlebell and make a difference to your life. Stop whinging and go for it.
